This course explains the practical elements of feeding animals: how to achieve maximum feed intake, and feed conversion to food; the feeding systems in use in the UK, and how to maximise production of food.

The course also explains the risks to the human food chain from feed contamination, and preventative measures needed to ensure the food produced from our livestock is safe.
